GO Train: the cheap option

Take the GO Train from Union Station downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls VIA station. CAD 15.50 each way. Service runs Friday to Sunday in summer (May 24 to September 1, 2026), departures from 8:30 AM, return until 9 PM. You then take the WeGo bus or walk 25 minutes to Table Rock.

Rental car: the flexible option

Verdict

Solo or paired first timers should take the bus tour, the price difference is small once you add all the inclusions. Repeat visitors and budget travelers should take the GO Train. Groups of 4 or more should rent a car for the cost saving and the flexibility.

Most bus tours pick up at major downtown hotels including the Sheraton Centre, Fairmont Royal York, Hilton Toronto and the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre. Some require a meet up at Union Station.
